Star Trails Workshop

Join us at Island Point on Saturday 14th February for an unforgettable night of star trail photography.

We’ll meet just before sunset to get set up and discuss the technique behind creating mesmerising circular star patterns in the night sky. The practical session will run for a minimum of three hours, giving you plenty of time to capture your own series of long exposures.

You’ll need a camera with an inbuilt interval timer or a remote shutter release, and access to Adobe Photoshop for the post-processing stage. Please don’t worry if you’re new to Photoshop, as no prior experience is needed. I’ll guide you through the specific method used to combine your images and create stunning star trail compositions.
